What is Model UN?

An international initiative educating young people through UN simulation.

Model United Nations is an initiative popular all over the world with the goal being the multi-thematic education of young people by simulating the meetings of the United Nations. These types of conferences enable ambitious, young people to discuss the problems they face in the modern world, as well as improve their oratory skills and argumentativeness.

Model UN allows participants to develop in the field of diplomatic communication in English and gain experience needed in a future professional career. It is a professional event with an international character.

The overriding goal of the event is to expand knowledge on crucial sectors such as international cooperation, protection of human rights, equality, health, environmental protection, as well as learning about the laws governing the economy and world politics.
